Freedom

The very first independent project I undertook after my A level all those years ago. The image represents freedom of the past, and hope towards a brighter future. After years of struggling against a brain condition I finally felt healthy and free from bonds which had lasted over a decade; obtusely the brain damage I suffered actually created the artistic side of my personality, hence actually aiding me and propelling me into a successful new carer. This image was voted by peers to be a front cover page on www.purpleport.com  A networking website for professional photographers, models and technicians, giving me a sense of belief and further cementing the notion of the work.
