Wildlife Park and reserve

Port Lympne is one of the premier zoo’s in England with a track record of conservation second to none. Based in near Canterbury Kent, access to the Ape area is of course restricted. Whilst behind the scenes I even managed to feed some gorillas rolling grapes into their mouths, they truly appeared to be gentle giants. This was a very special day for me as I have a great love for primates; to be allowed to be within touching distance of so many wonderful animals was a true privilege. One of the greatest things about being a photographer is that on occasions you can manifest life long aspirations. The Foundation runs from two sites in Kent.

Both Animal parks run by the Aspinall Foundation work so hard on conservation and returning animals back to the wild where possible, for more information please visit here.
